What a surprise I had this morning when I went up to the lake.  This is the scene that awaited me!

[Check the date!]

Seriously, the Christmas freeze saw temperatures fall to well below -10 degrees in Nant Gwynant, and we had 18 inches of snow.  I followed otter tracks across Llyn Dinas and was quite concerned about the affect the extreme weather was having on our wildlife and livestock.  Despite this, the wildlife seems to have recovered relatively unscathed.
